The weekend of the 20th we flew to Oakland for Carrie's wedding (Forrest's good friend). We flew out Thursday early evening which meant a very stressful day for me trying to work, pack and make it to the airport by 3:30PM. It was a miracle we made it and did not forget anything.

Rylee of course was very excited to go!

Rylee loved the hotel crib & other furniture. She is very into climbing these days. On Friday we were at the Oakland Temple for the sealing. Forrest went to the sealing and Rylee & I hung out at the visitors center. Rylee's tummy was not feeling too swell that day. We ended up with a few diaper blowouts (all over me, all over Forrest's suit, fun stuff). Then that night we went to dinner with friends and Rylee had projectile vomit, more fun (good birth control for the other couples we were with). I was a little worried about what the rest of the weekend had in store for us.
But...the rest of the weekend was fine. Saturday afternoon we took a nice
long drive (got a little lost) through lovely wine country to get to the reception in Santa Rosa, California.

I went to the bathroom and came back to find Rylee going to town on the white candy things that were meant to be thrown when the couple left (like rice). I thought for sure she was going to get sick again. Luckily they were not too sugary.

Rylee with one of her new favorite friends (Amy). This weekend was the first time we met Michael's wife Amy since we were not able to make it to their wedding. We loved her and had so much fun with them that weekend. We all stayed at the same hotel so Rylee got lots of quality time with Michael & Amy at the swimming pool and our little outings including our fun filled drive to and from Santa Rosa.

Rylee loved the wedding reception. I was amazed that she did not have grass stains in her dress from all the crawling around she did.
Sunday we (along with Michael & Amy) went to visit our friends Melvin & Janay. They cooked us a delicious lunch before we had to run off to the airport.

We then came home and spend the next week dealing with some lovely virus that Rylee managed to pick up somewhere (Hepangina). She had a fever followed by some painful blisters in the back of her throat. Poor girl.

We had so much fun with you that weekend! I felt really sorry that Rylee was so sick the first couple days, but you're right it is GREAT birth control! We hope to see you soon!
