Rylee went to the doctor for her 1 month check-up and shot today. She is already 8 lbs 11 oz and is looking healthy. She was a brave little girl when she got her shot and did not cry nearly as loud as most babies the nurse said. People at the doctors office kept telling me how little she is, but she seems so big compared to where she started. I guess it puts it into perspective to think that she now weighs what most the babies in our family weigh at birth. The doctor showed us on the birth chart that she is now in the 50th percentile instead of the 25th percentile where she was at her last visit. My nieces and nephews are usually in the 90th percentile so she still has some catching up to do.
Also, Rylee gave mom a fabulous present last night. She went 4 hours between feedings which means I was able to sleep two and a half hours at a time instead of the 30 minutes I get on her 2 hour feeding schedule. We will see if she can repeat again tonight!
