Unfortunately my parents house was broken into and burglarized on Sunday January 13th while my dad was at church and my mom was out of town. But never fear, I have watched a tons of CSI episodes and took this picture of the footprint they left as evidence, and what do you know ... the thieves were caught! Ok, so my picture had nothing to do with their arrest. My hats off to both Mesa PD & Tempe PD. A police officer in Mesa happen to randomly run the plates while driving behind my mom's Tahoe that same night that it was stolen and when it came up stolen went after the car. The driver and passenger ran off, but we at least got the Tahoe back. (Yes, they were gutsy enough to enter the house with my mom's Tahoe in the driveway and take the keys and steal the car along with the rest of the stuff they took from the house.) It was only days later that Tempe police contacted my parents to let them know that they found items from their police report in a hotel room and had arrested the people in possession of it. The sad part of the story is that it turned out to be these people that my mom had helped a lot over the years. My mom tried and tried to help this family because she really cared about their kids. However, they had gotten into drugs and made it too hard to help them any longer as they would not help themselves. So... the silver lining is that maybe the mom will go to jail for a long time and hopefully the kids will finally get some proper care.

What?! You didn't tell me that! But I'm so proud of your investigating skills.
